INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
The American Osteopathic Information Association is the sole owner of the information
collected on www.do-online.org and www.doprofiles.org. We will not sell, share,
or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed
in this statement.
www.do-online.org and www.doprofiles.org.does not track your use of the Internet
with “cookies.” When you log in to the secure area of the Osteopathic
Physician Profile Service, a short string of code is sent to your computer’s
memory. This “session-based” cookie lets us know you already entered
your password as you go to different pages on the site. When you close your
browser, this cookie is not saved or stored on your computer.
Each time a computer accesses the Internet, it uses an IP address. Servers identify
these numeric addresses, but not the individual using it. We use IP addresses
to analyze trends, administer the site, track movement through the site, and
gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
This site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that the American Osteopathic
Information Association is not responsible for the content or privacy practices
of other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site
and to read the privacy statements of each Web site they visit. This privacy
statement applies solely to www.do-online.org and www.doprofiles.org.
From time-to-time you may see a survey on the site. Participation in these surveys
is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to

our users' information any the information of any physician whose credentials
you seek to verify. Financial transactions are handled on secure encrypted Web
pages. No credit card or banking information is stored on the AOIA’s servers
